Adelina Marini
Adelina Marini, M.A. is a higher education professional and consultant specializing in academic operations, institutional systems, curriculum management, and student success initiatives. With extensive experience working across multiple areas of higher education administration, she helps colleges and universities improve academic processes, optimize systems, and develop strategies that better support students, faculty, and institutional leadership.

Experience
Adelina currently serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Operations at Mercer County Community College, where she oversees key operational functions including academic scheduling, curriculum processes, academic systems implementation, and institutional policy development. In this role, she works closely with college leadership, faculty, and staff to streamline academic workflows, implement technology solutions, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of institutional operations.

Her expertise includes the implementation and administration of academic software systems such as curriculum management platforms, student information systems, and academic scheduling tools. Adelina has led large-scale training initiatives for faculty and staff, developed institutional processes for curriculum and academic operations, and supported the integration of technology across academic departments to enhance collaboration and transparency.

Prior to her current role, Adelina worked in academic advising, student support services, admissions outreach, and student success initiatives at both community colleges and universities. Through these experiences, she developed a comprehensive understanding of the student lifecycle from recruitment and admissions to advising, retention, and graduation and the systems and strategies institutions need to support students effectively.

Adelina is also an active presenter in the higher education community, sharing insights on academic operations and advising innovation at regional and national conferences. She holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration Leadership from William Paterson University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education at Rutgers University, where her work focuses on improving institutional effectiveness and student outcomes.
